Adele Speaks On Friendship with Drake

Drake is Adele’s buddy.

The Toronto rapper has praised the “Easy on Me” singer, whom he refers to as “one of my greatest pals in the world.” He was recently seen supporting her during the filming of her CBS special, “One Night Only.”

The 15-time Grammy winner talked more about their tight bond in an interview with “Spout Podcast.”

“We have absolutely confided in each other… “I have absolutely confided in him about how I want to go about things,” she told anchor Tamara Dhia. “But he’s fantastic, he’s just fantastic.”

Adele claimed that she chatted with Drake before the release of 30 in order to receive his advise.

“We absolutely discussed it this time since releasing music amid a worldwide epidemic is something no one has done before,” she remarked. “We constantly chat about work and seek one other’s perspectives on things like that.”

They have a special affinity as two of the world’s top stars. “One of the reasons I appreciate being friends with him is that I have access to someone who actually knows a lot about what it’s like to be you and things like that,” she said. “He determines everything, and it can be pretty overwhelming at times to ensure that you’re aware of everything.”

Adele performed her album for Drake a year before the rest of the world heard it. However, Drake did not provide Adele with any early listens to Certified Lover Boy. “Oh, no.” “He didn’t tell me everything,” she explained. “But I did hear a few snatches of it and things like that.” But I really like that album.”

Adele is on course to dethrone her pal as the year’s biggest debut. 30 is predicted to sell over 800,000 album equivalent units, breaking Drake’s previous record of 613,000 set with Certified Lover Boy.
