Ronald Dee White was born on December 18, 1956, in Fritch, Texas. Charles Don White and Barbara Joan Craig raised White.

From January 2000 through March 2003, White performed alongside Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Larry the Cable Guy as part of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, which sold out in over 90 locations across the United States and generated more than $15 million.

The Ron White Program, a variety show combining celebrity appearances, cartoons, and skits, premiered on The WB Television Network in 2005. He recorded many episodes of The Gong Show, with Dave Attell serving as a celebrity judge.

Organica Music Group (OMG), a label that supports both new and established artists and comedians, was founded in 2010 by Ron White and producer Michael Blakey (Media Executive). OMG announced that it will distribute all of White’s upcoming DVDs and CDs.

White stated in November 2015 that he will run for President of the United States as an independent candidate in 2016. The next year, White featured in the Showtime series Roadies as Phil, a seasoned road manager for the fictitious Staton-House Band.
