Best Albums of 2021 Revealed by Rolling Stones

With less than a month till the end of the year, Rolling Stone has unveiled their list of the 50 greatest albums of 2021.

Olivia Rodrigo’s “immediately classic debut” Sour is at the top of the chart, followed by Adele’s first album in six years, 30. “In the years after 25, she’s become a better vocalist,” the magazine adds.

Tyler, the Creator’s Grammy-nominated Call Me If You Get Lost debuts at No. 4, with RS describing the song as “Tyler’s most confident to date…as he finds himself blossoming into his own skills.”

Montero, Lil Nas X’s first album, is ranked sixth. “Lil Nas X spends Montero demonstrating he can do it everything — to the point that it’s easy to forget it’s his first genuine album,” the magazine writes.

Jazmine Sullivan’s Heaux Tales remains at No. 7 on reviewers’ best-of lists, while Playboi Carti’s Whole Lotta Red is at No. 11.

Polo G’s Hall of Fame (No. 14), Tems’ If Orange Was a Place (No. 17), Arlo Parks’ Collapsed in Sunbeams (No. 19), and Leon Bridges’ Gold-Diggers Sound (No. 20) round out the top 20. (No. 20).

Doja Cat’s Planet Her (No. 21), Dawn Richards’ Second Line (No. 22), Young Thug’s Punk (No. 29), Summer Walker’s Still Over It (No. 33), and Silk Sonic’s An Evening With Silk Sonic are among the other songs that have charted.
