What is the Kid Laroi’s Net Worth?

The Kid Laroi is a $4 million net worth Australian singer and composer. Kid Laroi rose to prominence as a result of his collaborations with American rapper Juice Wrld. He ascended to prominence in 2020 when his first mixtape “F*ck Love” debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Other songs by Kid Laroi that have charted include “Without You” and “Stay.”

Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard, better known as Kid Laroi, was born on August 17, 2003 in Waterloo, New South Wales, Australia. His father, Nick, is a successful music producer and sound engineer, while his mother, Sloane, is an Aboriginal descent former talent manager, music executive, and record label founder. Howard is of Indigenous Australian Kamilaroi origin via his great-great grandfather, who was a member of the “Stolen Generation”; he chose the stage name “Laroi” to honor the Kamilaroi people. His parents split when he was four years old. He afterwards relocated to Broken Hill, New South Wales, with his mother, brother, and grandparents. He attended Sacred Hart Parish School there. Howard afterwards attended a residential school in Adelaide for a short time. Howard attended the elite private school Australian Performing Arts Grammar School when the family relocated to Sydney. However, he finally left school to pursue a career in music.

Beginnings of a Career

Howard got his start in music by recording raps on his mother’s phone and posting them to SoundCloud. He created the Dream$Team combo in 2015 with fellow Australian rapper DJ Marcus Jr., with whom he recorded several tracks and performed at local venues. Following that, Howard met producer Khaled Rohaim in a Sydney recording studio; pleased by Howard’s abilities, Rohaim hired him to write songs for other performers. Howard signed with Sony Music Australia in 2017.

Breakthroughs and “14 with a Dream”

In August of 2018, Howard published his first EP, “14 with a Dream.” That same month, he made headlines when he was named a finalist in a competition hosted by Australia’s Triple J radio station. Later that year, Howard performed at a number of Australian festivals, including Listen Out, One Night Stand, and Newtown.

Howard started working with Columbia Records and rapper Lil Bibby’s record label Grade A Productions in 2019. He also accompanied rapper Juice Wrld on his Australian tour. As a result, Juice Wrld became Howard’s close mentor, living with him in Los Angeles and teaching him the intricacies of the recording process. Howard later appeared at the Rolling Loud Festivals in New York and Miami. In December of 2019, he gained worldwide attention after he published the music video for his song “Let Her Go” on YouTube.

Collaborations and a mixtape titled “F*ck Love”

Throughout the year 2020, Howard worked on a variety of tracks with a range of musicians. He released the single “Diva” earlier this year, which featured rapper Lil Tecca. He went on to record “Addison Rae,” which became a TikTok smash, “Fade Away,” with rapper Lil Tjay, and “Go,” which featured the late Juice Wrld. Howard was featured on Bankrol Hayden’s first studio album, “Pain is Temporary,” in June.

Howard released his first commercial mixtape, “F*ck Love,” in July 2020, featuring Corbin, Lil Mosey, and Juice Wrld. The first single, “So Done,” was accompanied by a music video. “F*ck Love” debuted at number one on the Australian ARIA album chart in early 2021, becoming Howard the country’s youngest solo artist to do so. It also peaked at number three on the Billboard 200 in the United States. Howard released two deluxe copies of “F*ck Love,” the second of which included Stunna Gambino, Lil Durk, G Herbo, and Polo G as guests.

Collaborations and singles from other artists

Howard has appeared on songs such as “Speak” by Internet Money, “My City” by Onefour, “Reminds Me of You” by Juice Wrld, and “Unstable” by Justin Bieber, among others. Meanwhile, his own tracks “Without You” and “Stay” were enormous successes. The former, which was later re-released as a remix featuring Miley Cyrus, reached number eight on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Howard’s first top-ten hit as a solo artist. “Stay” was an even larger hit, reaching number one on the Hot 100 and became Howard’s highest-charting song in the United States.

Howard’s career has been heavily influenced by fashion. Due to a lack of funds, he often donned sports tracksuits when living in Australia. However, after going to California and becoming famous, he started wearing clothing by high-end brands like as Louis Vuitton and Celine. He is well-known for his affinity for knitted sweaters. Howard has also been in the fashion and entertainment magazine Flaunt and will grace the cover of the British magazine Wonderland in late 2021.
