In the United Arab Emirate, DU telecom has launched “Out of Credit” and “Zero Credit Call,” a service that allows subscribers to borrow credit at any time as long as their line is active for at least three months.
When prepaid customers run out of credit, they can get mobile credit in advance and pay it back later. Their eligibility will be determined by how much they use their line – the more they use it, the more eligible they are.
Along with the borrowed amount, the borrowed Out of Credit fee will be deducted from their next recharge. Customers should also spend at least AED 10 per month. When you run out of credit, simply dial *108# and you’ll be credited with AED 5.
When you qualify, dial *108# and an amount of AED 5 will be credited to your account, which will be deducted from your next recharge with a fee of AED 1. (+ 5% VAT).
HOW DO YOU GET CREDIT FROM DU?
You can manually Borrow Out credit from DU when you need it by dialing *108# and pressing 2 or texting ‘5’ to 1080. When you try to make a call and get a low balance prompt, dial 1. AED 5 will be credited to your account.
THE CREDIT OF DU ZERO
This is a service for DU Prepaid customers who do not have enough credit to call, but who would like to make a one-time 3-minute call to any local or international number for AED 1.50 (+5% VAT), which will be deducted from their next recharge.
Only one local or international call can be made with the Zero Credit service.
HOW TO GET A CREDIT CALL FROM DU ZERO CREDIT
To borrow DU calls with no credit check Simply stay on the line when a service announcement is made. After the beep, simply hold the line and the call will be connected. You can simply hang up if you do not want to continue with the call.
DU ZERO CREDIT CALL FEES
The service costs AED 1.50 (+5% VAT) per call, and the cost will be deducted from your next recharge. The fees are independent of the call duration, which is limited to three minutes. If the customer on the other end of the line does not answer the call, there will be no charges.
HOW TO GIVE CREDIT TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY ON DUE DATE
Customers who have du Pay as you Go or Visitor Mobile Lines can easily transfer their credit to family and friends. This service demonstrates du’s commitment to providing convenience to customers by facilitating and optimizing their mobility experience on a continuous basis.
When customers transfer credit from their’more time’ account, there is no fee. When they transfer from their’more credit’ account, they will be charged a 15% transaction fee. The transferred credit is always placed in the recipient’s’more time’ account and is valid for life. Transfers can be made and received while traveling internationally.
Customers can transfer a minimum of AED 2 and a maximum of AED 200 per transaction using the service.
